Before reaching Sripat Bamunpara the pilgrimage party visited the nearby village of Denur where Sri Vrindavan Das Thakur wrote the Sri Chaitanya Bhagavat. On the outskirts of the village is this haritaki tree (left) under which Nityananda Prabhu with His associates rested after honouring Prasadam during their travels. They ate the fruits of the tree as a digestive aid. Nityananda Prabhu's footprints are worshiped in the small mandir behind. Adjacent to this site is a kunda (right).

Arriving inside the extensive grounds of our Sri Chaitanya Sridhar Govinda Seva Ashram, Bamunpara.

The Ashram's garden flourishes under the loving care of the devotees Continuing on their way to Srila Gurudev' Appearance Place 500 metres away.
