- My dear devotees
and friends. We are so fortunate that we are assembled here in
Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math which is a super-sacred place in this
world.
- In this material
world we are suffering from death and birth, happiness and sadness,
and so many things. We cannot cross this natural law, but if we
take interest about being rescued from this material world and
we want to be a member of the holiest place such as Vaikuntha
or Goloka Vrindavan where exists all-auspiciousness and happiness,
then we must surrender to this place, Koladwip in Nabadwip Dham.
- Srila
Guru Maharaj arranged this ashram here for us on the banks
of the Holy River Ganges, which, as stated in the Scriptures,
is coming down from Vaikuntha-loka via Svarga-loka to this material
world.
- Srila Guru
Maharaj chose this place for us, because all the offensive things
we are doing and that have been giving us so many disturbances
life after life, all these things will go out if we surrender
here. It is a very beautiful ashram where the Deities accept service
from the surrendered souls. The nine forms of Bhakti are all happily
practised here.
- Now Sri Chaitanya
Saraswat Math has arranged the practising process all over the
world as stated in the Scriptures, "Harer Nama Harer Nama Harer
Nama eva kevalam...."
- Mahaprabhu
said that we must chant purely the Names, and this will be more
pure if the chanter can follow the process of "trnad-api sunichena...."
He said it is not necessary to read a huge amount of Scriptures
('Ganges full' of Scriptures). Only chanting the Holy Name is
necessary.
- When we will
get connection with that Divine Form of the Lord all inauspiciousness
will go out from us as well as all reactionary things.
- We will get
positive connection with the transcendental world where there
is love, affection, sincerity, chastity -- and everything is beautiful
and harmless, life is eternal, time is eternal. We will get the
opportunity in that eternal world.
- We can stay
anywhere without problem if we follow these directives of Mahaprabhu
and chant the Hare Krishna Mahamantra in this Kali-yuga.
- All over
the world devotees are chanting the Holy Names. They are coming
here. Seeing their faces, we can see they are very happy. So,
be happy, chant the Holy Names, and serve everyone through this
Holy Name. Distribute this method of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. They
will be benefited, and you will also be benefited by that.
- Srila Guru
Maharaj established this Math for everyone. If they will come
here and stay a few days they will feel how auspicious it is,
and how much happiness will come to their heart.
- Krishna is
so merciful and has given us so this opportunity in this Chaitanya
Saraswat Math. Its name is so beautiful. Here there is no creed,
criterion, caste -- we are all in a boat where everyone is happy
and proceeding towards Goloka Vrindavan.
- A twenty-four
hours a day programme goes on here. Service is life.
- Mahaprabhu
said, first rescue yourselves, and try to spread this conception
to others for their benefit.
- I am getting
this opportunity. Two days ago I was very sick, attacked by a
mild stroke, still I am going for my preaching programme to England
and Russia.
- Life and
death is uncertain in this material world, but we don't run behind
that. We run always behind our practising procedure that will
give super-benefit.
- We are not
fearful from any circumstances, we shall try to harmonise and
proceed to the destination, and that is service to the Lord and
Goloka Vrindavan.
- The present
science world tells us that we never lose anything.
- If we have
a pure process we must get connection with that transcendental
matter. It will all come to us. If we are sincere seekers we must
get it.
- Then, you
all try with heart and soul.
- If we don't
use ourselves with our willing, feeling and thinking, then we
will be like a stone. But at present we are not a stone, so we
have got this one life with willing, feeling and thinking in hand,
so we shall use that life for our super benefit of spiritual life.
We are trying, not only in this Ashram, but also we are invited
to so many places, and we are going there for preaching our Guru
Maharaj's and Mahaprabhu's conception.
- Practise
it, and you will get the result. That is Guru Maharaj's gift.
- We may be
poor in many ways, but we are not poor because we are part and
parcel of Lord Krishna, therefore we have willing, feeling and
thinking and the existence of the spiritual body. We know we can
get connection, so why will we not do that? We cannot stop.
- If I have
just $5 I will do business with $5, but we won't stop our business
(even though we may have so little).
- One little
part and parcel of that light (the jiva) has so much power it
can move an elephant body or an ant body. We may not understand
how powerful we are, but Hanumanji knows he can cross over the
ocean in one jump. Everything is possible by the grace of the
Lord. When we realise the saints' character, we may understand
more and more about that.
- It is not
only my request, but also the request of Mahaprabhu, that whoever
has this human birth, he must get super benefit if he will try
to use this life properly, then divine nectar is waiting for you
to taste. This is the news that has come from the Vedic Literature
and from Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and His associates.
